What Will be Covered in This Workshop?
If you are like most people, you might feel like the faucet of email can never be turned off.
There is a reason you feel this way. It can't. So what can you do to cope?
Sure you could opt to spend your one precious life mastering inbox zero or just run screaming from your workspace every time you get a new message or you could withdraw to a wireless free cave in the middle of no where and live out the rest of your days blissfully unencumbered by the incessant flow of digital distraction.
But how practical or sustainable are any of those measures? And yes, to be sure, there are tactics and strategies to manage the flow of information but what is really needed is a shift in your e-mail mindset. Why do you use it and what to you want from it? And once you've figured that out, what habits and practices will support that.
In this one-hour, interactive workshop, we will:
- ponder the problem of email,
- next using the framework provided you will identify your desired E-Mail Mindset Method and then,
- we will share practices that bring how we we engage with email in alignment with what we hope to get out of it.
- You will leave with a new way to approach your inbox that you can immediately put into practice.
What is a Time Re-Imaginement Workshop?
Eleven Minutes to Mars is a holistic system for time re-imaginement. During these workshop we introduce a new time re-imaginement method or tool and then we experiment with it and reflect on what was discovered during the process.
Most of the tools or methods we introduce can be done in eleven minutes or less. The workshops take an hour to allow time to introduce the tool, test it out, and reflect on the process.
And in case you are wondering, "I don't know what Eleven Minutes to Mars is, or the M.A.R.S Method for Time Re-Imaginement and actually, I have no idea what time re-imaginement is either."
Fret not. We will cover that!
The intention is that you will leave the workshop with some new ways to help you reclaim your time and attention so you can focus on what matters.
And if that all sounds a bit mysterious, well that is a bit intentional. In the world of so much everything, having a little surprise, delight, and intentional uncertainty, can lead us to incredible discoveries. We don't want to tell you everything because we want YOU to experience it.
